dc.description | Deforestation in the world is a problem that has been occurring for many years, it is really worrying to see how the environment is destroyed. In forests there is great biodiversity. It is surprising to know that about 60% of all vascular plants are found in tropical forests. Deforestation and forest degradation continue to advance at an alarming rate, since by losing part of these forests, biodiversity is diminishing. This practical work presents as objectives: Establish statistics on reforestation programs in in the province of Los Ríos, taking Handrohanthus crysanthus into consideration, identify problems found within reforestation programs and propose guidelines for the improvement of reforestation programs in the province, in this documentary research It was used as a literature review and citation methodology, channeling documents with information relevant to the topic. The results indicate that native forests are important resources for reforestation because they have a diversity of native species, rather than what is currently done. In order to carry out reforestation, the most admissible thing is to use tree species that are native to a certain area or that are of rapid growth and development. The research did not detect statistics directly related to the use of yellow guayacán (Handrohanthus crysanthus) as part of afforestation or reforestation programs in the area. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
