dc.description | Amblyopia is the condition for which there is a decrease in visual acuity without organic cause to demonstrate it. It is recoverable with proper treatment at an appropriate age. Amblyopia can cause in many cases an anisometropia which is a visual problem in which each of the eyes has a different refractive error, so it is important that its diagnosis is early and thus avoid problems that may affect the daily living of the children. The objective of the clinical case is to demonstrate the reason for the decrease in the girl's visual acuity (VA). This will be demonstrated by performing comprehensive optometric and ophthalmological examinations such as visual acuity (VA), visuscopy, the hirschberg test, ocular motility, accommodation, worth test, the bruckner reflex, ophthalmoscopy. Among all the results that were obtained in the study through the diagnostic tests of this clinical case, it was a hyperopic anisometric refractive amblyopia, for which a periodic control by the ophthalmologist and the optometrist is recommended every year to avoid complications. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
