dc.description | Acute appendicitis is one of the most common surgical emergency diseases, the incidence rate is higher in adulthood and minor in children and the elderly, this pathology has a very typical symptomatic picture and its origin persists with abdominal pain, fever, cramping, nausea and vomiting (not in all cases), its diagnosis is based on a complete medical history, a well-directed physical examination and a complete understanding of laboratory and cabinet tests, although it is a surgical solution entity, its treatment covers different medical aspects. This study reveals a 21-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, with a family history of diabetes mellitus, which enters by presenting a moderate-intensity abdominal pain picture then migrates to left iliac pit, accompanied by nausea that does not reach vomiting, afebril. The nursing process was developed in the patient diagnosed with acute appendicitis in order to contribute to improve their health status, through useful tools such as the physical assessment and evaluation of their functional patterns with the Marjory Gordon model and in this way prioritize the interventions in nursing to give a good care plan according to the needs required by the affected individual, he also used the use of THE taxonomy NANDA (diagnostics), NIC (interventions) and NOC (results) as scientific and practical guidance. | es_ES |
