dc.description | The present experimental work was carried out on the lands owned by Mr. Marcos Guingla Guingla, in the Santa Cecilia area of Cantón Montalvo, with UTM coordinates 688 154 E and 9 803 269 N, and 17 meters above sea level. This experimental zone has a humid tropical climate, with an annual average temperature of 250 C, annual rainfall of 1845 mm, and relative humidity of 74%. The soil is deep with a clay texture, drainage and regular fertility. The Emblem 777 maize hybrid was used as planting material. The proposed objectives were: to determine the agronomic behavior of the maize crop to the application of the Innitrosol edaphic fertilizer; establish the treatment with the greatest increase in the crop's grain yield and perform the economic analysis in relation to the benefit / cost. From the results obtained, it was determined that no favorable response was obtained in the corn crop to the application of the Innitrosol soil fertilizer in the Santa Cecilia area, Montalvo canton; conventional fertilization of 138 kg / ha N; 23 kg / ha P; 90 kg / ha K; 24 kg / ha S and the farmer's fertilization of 92 kg / ha N; 23 kg / ha P; 60 kg / ha K; 12 kg / ha S influenced so that the flowering is in less time; The use of Innitrosol in doses of 200 kg / ha applied to corn registered a shorter time in maturation of the crop, while Innitrosol in doses of 450 kg / ha showed greater ear diameter; the highest plant height, ear insertion height, ear length, number of grains per ear, weight of 100 grains and yield (6794.1 kg / ha) was obtained with the conventional fertilization of 138 kg / ha N; 23 kg / ha P; 90 kg / ha K; 24 kg / ha S and regarding the economic analysis, the best treatment was the application of the fertilization carried out by farmer of 92 kg / ha N; 23 kg / ha P; 60 kg / ha K; 12 kg / ha S, with a net benefit of $ 959.49. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo experimental se realizó en los terrenos de propiedad del señor Marcos Guingla Guingla, en la zona de Santa Cecilia del Cantón Montalvo, con coordenadas UTM 688 154 E y 9 803 269 N, y de 17 msnm de altitud. Esta zona experimental posee un clima tropical húmedo, con temperatura promedio anual de 250 C, precipitación anual de 1845 mm, humedad relativa de 74 %. El suelo es profundo de textura arcillosa, drenaje y fertilidad regular. Se empleó como material de siembra el híbrido de maíz Emblema 777. Los objetivos planteados fueron: determinar el comportamiento agronómico del cultivo de maíz a la aplicación del fertilizante edáfico Innitrosol; establecer el tratamiento de mayor incremento en el rendimiento de grano del cultivo y realizar el análisis económico en relación con el beneficio/costo. Por los resultados obtenidos se determinó que no se obtuvo respuesta favorable en el cultivo de maíz a la aplicación del fertilizante edáfico Innitrosol en la zona de Santa Cecilia, cantón Montalvo; la fertilización convencional de 138 kg/ha N; 23 kg/ha P; 90 kg/ha K; 24 kg/ha S y la fertilización del agricultor de 92 kg/ha N; 23 kg/ha P; 60 kg/ha K; 12 kg/ha S influyó para que la floración sea en menor tiempo; el uso de Innitrosol en dosis de 200 kg/ha aplicado al maíz registró menor tiempo en maduración del cultivo, en tanto que Innitrosol en dosis de 450 kg/ha mostró mayor diámetro de mazorca; la mayor altura de planta, altura de inserción de la mazorca, longitud de mazorca, número de granos por mazorca, peso de 100 granos y rendimiento (6794,1 kg/ha) se obtuvo con la fertilización convencional de 138 kg/ha N; 23 kg/ha P; 90 kg/ha K; 24 kg/ha S y en cuanto al análisis económico, el mejor tratamiento fue la aplicación de la fertilización realizada por agricultor de 92 kg/ha N; 23 kg/ha P; 60 kg/ha K; 12 kg/ha S, con un beneficio neto de $ 959,49. | es_ES |
