| dc.description | The savings and credit cooperative "SAN JOSÉ LTDA" agency - Montalvo is a financial institution whose main activity is the granting and collection of loans, it has five advisers and approximately 18,000 members who are dispersed in the different lines of credit. The portfolio recovery process has been affected by the little information that the partners get when making the respective cancellations of the debts, this happens due to the fact that the advisor does not make use of all the available resources to send the information to the member about his obligation, in addition this institution does not have a specific department to carry out such collection procedures. The present case study is related to the sub-line of research of the trade career that is Financial, tax management, and social commitment, under the qualitative and quantitative research methodology because the variables analyzed have these characteristics of qualities and numerical, that is descriptive, since it narrates and describes events observed in the investigative process. The purpose of the case study is to learn about the portfolio recovery process and how it influences profitability. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | La cooperativa de ahorro y crédito “SAN JOSÉ LTDA” agencia - Montalvo es una institución financiera que tiene como actividad principal el otorgamiento y cobro de los créditos, cuenta con cinco asesores y un aproximado de 18000 socios que están dispersos en las diferentes líneas de créditos. El proceso de recuperación de cartera se ha visto afectado por la poca información que contraen los socios a la hora de hacer las respetivas cancelaciones de las deudas, esto sucede por el hecho de que el asesor no hace uso de todos los recursos disponibles para hacer llegar la información al socio sobre su obligación, además esta institución no cuenta con un departamento en específico para realizar dichas gestiones de cobranzas. El presente estudio de caso se relaciona con la sub línea de investigación de la carrera de comercio que es Gestión financiera, tributaria, y compromiso social, bajo la metodología de investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa porque las variables analizadas poseen estas características de cualidades y numéricas, es de tipo descriptivo puesto que narra y describe sucesos observados en el proceso investigativo. La finalidad del estudio de caso es conocer sobre el proceso de recuperación de cartera y la manera que influye en la rentabilidad. | es_ES |
