dc.description | The case study was carried out at the San Fernando Taxis Cooperative in the city of Babahoyo, an institution dedicated to providing transportation services from one place to another, according to the needs or requirements of the general population. The purpose of the research is to analyze the administrative management of the cooperative since over the years it has faced serious problems in its planning, management and administration of resources that have prevented it from meeting the planned objectives, since its administrative processes are inadequate due to the lack of coordination between areas, poor communication between partners and the administrative department. The applied methodology is descriptive and documentary because it allowed to interpret and analyze information from the identified events and support this documentation; The inductive method was also used, which helped to determine subproblems related to administrative management, together with the techniques of direct observation of the transport units and surveys directed at the administration and members of the cooperative through the execution of investigative instruments such as observation and question questionnaire. The results obtained from the investigative process are: problems in coordinating the activities to be developed by the administrative members, the lack of organizational tools and management indicators to evaluate the performance of employees and the optimal state of their vehicle units and the lack of a manual of functions that establishes the responsibilities and obligations of the members of the organization. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El caso de estudio se realizó en la Cooperativa de Taxis San Fernando de la ciudad de Babahoyo, institución dedicada a brindar servicios de trasporte de un lugar determinado a otro, según las necesidades o requerimientos de la población en general. La investigación tiene como propósito analizar la gestión administrativa de la cooperativa puesto que a través de los años ha enfrentado serios inconvenientes en su planificación, gestión y administración de recursos que le han impedido cumplir con los objetivos planeados, pues sus procesos administrativos son inadecuados por la falta de la coordinación entre las áreas, deficiente comunicación entre socios y el departamento administrativo. La metodología aplicada es de tipo descriptiva y documental porque permitió interpretar y analizar información de los sucesos identificados y sustentar la presente documentación; también se utilizó el método inductivo que ayudó a determinar subproblemas vinculados a la gestión administrativa junto con las técnicas de observación directa a las unidades de transporte y encuestas dirigidas a la administración y socios de la cooperativa mediante la ejecución de instrumentos investigativos como ficha de observación y cuestionario de pregunta. Los resultados obtenidos del proceso investigativo son: problemas en la coordinación de las actividades a desarrollar por parte de los integrantes administrativos, la falta de herramientas organizacionales y de indicadores de gestión para evaluar el desempeño de los empleados y optimo estado de sus unidades vehiculares y la carencia de un manual de funciones que establezca las responsabilidades y obligaciones de los miembros de la organización. | es_ES |
