dc.descriptionThe UTI is one of the most frequent complications during pregnancy, it is one of the causes and the most predominant in high rate of threat of preterm birth and with it all the immersed complications both maternal and fetal, the objective of the present study is to determine if the IVU is the cause of APP at the Nicolas Cotto Infante Hospital in the city of Vinces. Methods: Retrospective, descriptive type research, which is subject to a universe of 450 patients and a sample of 125 pregnant women with APP diagnosis at the Nicolás Cotto Infante de Vinces Hospital, in a period from January to June 2019, determines the patient age, maternal-fetal complications, gestational age, previous number of prenatal controls, most frequent UTI, risk factors added by means of a statistical analysis. Result: the present study found that the age of the patients between 13 and 20 years corresponds to 51%, the gestational age that mostly presents complications was between 31 to 36.6 giving a percentage of 66%, the most frequent clinical form was cystitis with 50%, prenatal controls were a minimum of 1 to 3 corresponding to 52%, and the most important risk factor fell on low socioeconomic level with 62%. Conclusions: the percentage of association between IVU and APP in patients treated in the Gynecology - Obstetrics department of Vinces HBNCI is significantly high.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLas IVU es una de las complicaciones más frecuentes durante la gestación, constituye una de las causas y la más predominante en alto índice de amenaza de parto pretérmino y con ella todas las complicaciones inmersas tanto maternas y fetales, el objetivo del presente estudio es determinar si la IVU es la causa de APP en el Hospital Nicolas Cotto Infante de Vinces. Métodos: Investigación tipo descriptiva – retrospectiva, que se encuentra sujeta a un universo de 450 pacientes y una muestra de 125 gestantes con diagnóstico APP en el Hospital Nicolás Cotto Infante de Vinces, en un periodo comprendido de enero a junio del 2019, se determina la edad de las pacientes, complicaciones materno-fetales, edad gestacional, número previos de controles prenatales, IVU más frecuente, factores de riesgo sobreañadido mediante un análisis estadístico. Resultado: el presente estudio comprobó que la edad de las pacientes de entre 13 a 20 años corresponde al 51%, la edad gestacional que mayoritariamente se presentan las complicaciones fue entre 31 a 36.6 dando un porcentaje del 66%, la forma clínica más frecuente fue la cistitis con un 50%, los controles prenatales fueron un mínimo de 1 a 3 que corresponde al 52%, y el factor de riesgo más ponderante recayó sobre nivel socioeconómico bajo con el 62%. Conclusiones: el porcentaje de asociación entre IVU y APP en pacientes atendidas en el servicio de Gineco - obstetricia del HBNCI de Vinces es considerablemente alto.es_ES
