dc.description | Tourism is part of one of the main economic sectors worldwide, being studied in various geographical destinations. This economic activity operates as a source of opportunities for the socio-economic and cultural modernization of a geographical area, with heritage being a factor of social cohesion due to the important sensitivities it affects. According to a study on the competitiveness of Ecuador, the country's strength in the international tourism market lies in its natural heritage and in the cultural values of its inhabitants. In that sense, the country's natural and cultural diversity plays a decisive role in the sustainability of tourism and the economic benefits associated with it. The qualitative and quantitative relevance of tourism in Ecuador supports the perception of great potential in the sector that can be fully exploited. The spa tourism has experienced a high growth in recent years thus becoming an escape valve for those who seek to distract themselves, relax taking advantage of the advantages that nature offers. The creation of a sustainable tourist resort for the city of Quevedo will allow people not to have to go out to other places in search of this type of fun, which would allow greater commercial dynamism, entrepreneurship of micro enterprises that contribute to the generation of income from sources of employment to be provided, From the survey carried out to the population of Québec, he pointed out that the park must include accessible prices, as indicated by 56%, while 49% consider that there should be low costs and 97% that the park promotes tourism development. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El turismo forma parte de uno de los principales sectores económicos a nivel mundial, siendo objeto de estudio en diversos destinos geográficos. Esta actividad económica opera como fuente de oportunidades para la modernización socioeconómica y cultural de un área geográfica, siendo el patrimonio un factor de cohesión social por las importantes sensibilidades a las que afecta. De acuerdo a un estudio sobre competitividad de Ecuador, la fortaleza del país en el mercado turístico internacional radica en su acervo natural y en los valores culturales de sus habitantes. En tal sentido, la diversidad natural y cultural del país juega un papel determinante en la sostenibilidad del turismo y los beneficios económicos asociados con él. La relevancia cualitativa y cuantitativa del turismo en Ecuador sustenta la percepción de un gran potencial en el sector que puede ser aprovechado de manera integral. El turismo de balneario ha experimentado un elevado crecimiento en los últimos años convirtiéndose así en una válvula de escape para quienes buscan distraerse, relajarse aprovechando las ventajas que le brinda la naturaleza. La creación de un balneario turístico sostenible para la ciudad de Quevedo permitirá que las personas no tengan que salir a otros lugares en busca de este tipo de diversión lo que permitiría un mayor dinamismo comercial, emprendimiento de microempresas que contribuyen a la generación de ingresos por las fuentes de empleos que se proveerá, de la encuesta realizada a la población quevedeña señalo que el parque debe incluir precios accesibles así lo indico con un56%, mientras un 49% considera que deben existir bajos costos y un 97% que el parque promueve el desarrollo turístico. | es_ES |
