| dc.description | The present research project was carried out at the Hospital Básico Arias, in Babahoyo city, to a 28-year-old woman with a moderate depressive disorder with onset in peripartum meeting the diagnostic criteria of the diagnostic manual DSM 5 for came to this diagnosis, the patient was given some psychometric tests which were Beck's depression inventory, Hamilton's anxiety scale and to evaluate the five basic functions of the family was the APGAR questionnaire. This case study aims to know how postpartum depression negatively influences the family nucleus causing discords, fights and quarrels in the home, it is also proven that postpartum depression not only happens after childbirth alsodevelops during pregnancy, corrodes in the same way that this mood disorder not only affects teenage mothers. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación fue realizado en el Hospital Básico Arias, del cantón Babahoyo, a una mujer de 28 años de edad con un Trastorno depresivo moderado con inicio en el periparto cumpliendo con los criterios diagnósticos del manual diagnostico DSM 5 para llegar a este diagnóstico se le realizaron a la paciente algunos test psicométricos los cuales fueron, el inventario de depresión de Beck, la escala de ansiedad de Hamilton y para evaluar las cinco funciones básicas de la familia se le aplico el cuestionario APGAR. Este estudio de caso tiene como fin conocer como la depresión post parto influye de manera negativa al núcleo familiar ocasionando discordias, peleas y riñas en el hogar, también se comprueba que la depresión post parto no solo sucede después del alumbramiento asimismo se desarrolla durante en el embarazo, se corroboro del mismo modo que este trastorno del estado de ánimo no solo afecta a madres adolescentes. | es_ES |
