dc.descriptionThe elderly adult is going through a series of changes in different aspects, these changes could be normal but along with these changes, cognitive deterioration also occurs, and even more when the elderly adult is surrounded by risk factors, one of them is isolation and is like this how the elderly adult stars losing his abilities in the execution of different activities that involve mental processes, that's why this study proposes cognitive stimulation to improve executive functions, aimed to the elderly adult where cognitive stimulation techniques are applied according to their condition, for this particular case a set of techniques were implemented, such as the interview, the observation, psychometric tests, each of them with their respective instrument, which helped to establish a diagnosis to develop a psychotherapeutic design afterwardses_ES

dc.description.abstractEl adulto mayor atraviesa por una serie de cambios en diferentes aspectos, estos cambios son normales pero acompañados a estos se presentarse también el deterioro cognitivo, y más aún cuando el adulto se rodea de factores de riesgo, uno de ellos es el aislamiento y es así como el adulto va perdiendo sus capacidades en la ejecución de las diferentes actividades que involucran a los procesos mentales, es por eso que este estudio propone la estimulación cognitiva para mejorar las funciones ejecutivas, dirigido al caso de un adulto mayor en donde se aplican técnicas de estimulación cognitivas adaptadas a su condición, para este caso se realizaron un conjunto de técnicas, como la entrevista,, la observación, test psicométricos cada una de ellas con su respectivo instrumento, que ayudaron a establecer un diagnóstico para posterior a esto elaborar un diseño psicoterapéutico.es_ES
