| dc.description | Respiratory failure is a disease due to the inability of the respiratory system that lowers oxygen in the blood due to the presence of fluids in the lungs. There are multiple causes, the same ones that originate in the different elements that are part of the respiratory system. The essential function of the respiratory system is to ensure optimum levels of oxygen and proper carbon dioxide removal. Therefore, in order to detect the insufficiency, complementary tests are performed, such as: functional respiratory tests, imaging tests, stress tests, electrocardiogram, biometrics, among others. | es_ES |

Existen múltiples causas, las mismas que se originan en los diferentes elementos que forman parte del aparato respiratorio. La función esencial del aparato respiratorio consiste en procurar unos niveles óptimos de oxígeno y una apropiada eliminación de anhídrido carbónico. Por lo tanto, para detectar la insuficiencia se realizan pruebas complementarias como por ejemplo: pruebas funcionales respiratorias, pruebas de imagen, pruebas de esfuerzo, electrocardiograma, biometría, entre otros. | es_ES |
