dc.description	This thesis carries out the analysis and evaluation of the operational performance of the Graduate in Optometry in the area of Ophthalmology of the Central Guayas Health Clinic of the IESS, likewise it emphasizes the need to count on his presence for a better performance of the area, as a strategy as a means to achieve (more attention, in less time and rapid and effective diagnosis by timely delivering the report to ophthalmologists) the objectives is to streamline the ophthalmological procedures you need for your treatment and final diagnosis. These indicators were used and compared to show the relationship and difference between their presence and absence before and after making the pertinent consultations to the affiliates and managers of the area, since these indicators allow to observe the difference and the need to have their presence . The problem is posed, the general objective and the specific objectives of this thesis are established, as well as the justification, the scope and the limits of it. The data of the institution and the legal framework in which the graduate in optometry is handled are presented. As its local and global positioning in which it is already giving very good results and the reason to demonstrate in this study. The conclusions reached with the study are presented.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La presente tesis realiza el análisis y evaluación del desempeño operativo del Licenciado en Optometría en el área de Oftalmología del dispensario de Salud Central Guayas del IESS ,así mismo hace énfasis en la necesidad de contar con su presencia para un mejor desempeño del área , como estrategia como medio para alcanzar( mayor atención ,en menor cantidad de tiempo y diagnósticos rápido y eficaces al entregar oportunamente el informe a los Oftalmólogos ) los objetivos es agilitar los procedimientos oftalmológicos que necesita para su tratamiento y diagnóstico final. Estos indicadores fueron empleados y comparados para mostrar la relación y diferencia entre su presencia y ausencia un antes y un después haciendo las consultas pertinentes a los afiliados y directivos del área, puesto que estos indicadores permiten observar la diferencia y la necesidad de contar con su presencia. Se plantea la problemática, se establece el objetivo general y los objetivos específicos de la presente tesis, así como la justificación, los alcances y los límites de la misma. Se exponen los datos de la institución y el marco legal en que se maneja el licenciado en optometría. Como su posicionamiento tanto local y global en la que ya está dando muy buenos resultados y el motivo de demostrar en este estudio. Se presentan las conclusiones a las que se llegaron con el estudio.	es_ES
