| dc.description | The Babahoyo Maternity Hospital also known as the Antonio Foundation
Basterrechea Irusta (FABI), is an institution that has been coming for several years
provided timely and guaranteed attention to society, having currently has
as administrator to Eng. Ninfa Campos Silvera.
Since its inception it has had great acceptance by the Babahoyense community that
attends the Hospital on a daily basis to receive quality medical care, considering the
health as a primordial part in the life of the human being. As they increase the
number of patients who attend daily medical consultations, the hospital was seen in the
need to implement a computer system that allows you to carry out activities
they are done daily manually.
As is known, information is important for any nature, this
allows to carry out actions that help to improve the activities either in the sector
productive or services, and the fact of not using or not having a system
computing, would mean a lot of inconveniences at the administrative level and
manager of any company.
Guarantee the availability of Information once the information has been
entered into a computer system, it must be stored safely and be
available to users / clients when they need it, in such a way that their integrity

| dc.description.abstract | El Hospital Maternidad Babahoyo también conocido como Fundación Antonio
Basterrechea Irusta (FABI), es una institución que desde hace varios años viene
brindado atención oportuna y garantizada a la sociedad, teniendo actualmente tiene
como administradora a la Ing. Ninfa Campos Silvera.
Desde sus inicios ha tenido gran aceptación por parte de la comunidad Babahoyense que
asiste diariamente al Hospital para recibir atención médica de calidad, considerando la
salud como parte primordial en la vida del ser humano. A medida que aumentan el
número de pacientes que asisten a diario a las consultas médicas, el hospital se vió en la
necesidad de implementar un sistema informático que le permita realizar las actividades
se realizan a diario manualmente.
Como es de conocimiento, la información es importante para cualquier índole, esta
permite realizar acciones que ayudan a mejorar las actividades sea en el sector
productivo o de servicios, y el hecho de no utilizar o de no contar con un sistema
informático, significaría una gran cantidad de inconvenientes a nivel administrativo y
gerencial de cualquier empresa.
Garantizar la disponibilidad de la Información una vez que la información ha sido
ingresada en un sistema de cómputo, debe ser almacenada de manera segura y estar
disponible para los usuarios/clientes cuando la necesiten, de tal forma que su integridad
