dc.description	The urinary tract is normally sterile is it does not contain germs however some people may have detectable bacteria in the urine test which is called bacteriuria without necessarily indicating a urinary infection. We call urinary infection any infection that affects the kidneys bladder and the uretra. If bacteriuria is detected even if there is no cistitis or pyelonephritis, antibiotics are indicated to sterilize the urinary tract and prevent complications in pregnancy. If not treated in time, there is a risk of increasing perinatal mortality.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	El tracto urinario normalmente es estéril, es decir, no contiene gérmenes. Sin embargo, algunas personas pueden tener bacterias detectables en el examen de orina, lo que se llama bacteriuria, sin necesariamente indicar una infección urinaria. Llamamos infección urinaria cualquier infección que afecta a los riñones, vejiga y/o uretra. Si la bacteriuria es detectada, aunque no exista cistitis o pielonefritis, se indican antibióticos para esterilizar el tracto urinario y prevenir complicaciones en el embarazo. Si no se tata a tiempo se corre el riesgo de aumentar la mortalidad perinatal.	es_ES
