| dc.description | In Ecuador there is an important group of foundations that are dedicated to the work
one of them is the MUNDION INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION
OF FAMILY INTERVENTION whose mission is to free children from the poverty of the
province of Los Ríos.
In view of the deplorable conditions of life of the infants of the Province of Los Ríos,
dedicated to the begging in the surroundings arose the CENTER FOUNDATION
INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT MISSION OF FAMILY INTERVENTION in the year 1985
founded by the Lord Rev. Everett Swanson, who started working on behalf of these children
rescuing them from the streets providing a home with food and clothing.
To this end, the foundation has four programs aimed at children of the
Province, these are the programs for Child Survival, Sponsorship and, Leadership and
Complementary intervention where children and mothers who are in gestation
receiving benefits such as medical checks that promote the healthy development of
child up to three years old, medical follow-ups, help in the field of both education,
health, economic and even a vocational orientation towards community assistance.
The institution receives two types of income to fulfill these tasks, those of
self-management that comes from the sale of lunches and tickets to the cinema, and donations from
a benefaction foundation called Compassion International.
To register this income, the entity has an accounting system called
SIIDEN which is not in a network and is not automated being managed by a

person who does not have the skills to manage the system or possess the knowledge
on accounting science necessary to perform this function.
This causes difficulties in the registration of income, which causes imbalances in
the daily operations of the CENTRO DE DESARROLLO INTEGRAL FOUNDATION
MISSION OF FAMILY INTERVENTION.
These imbalances result in a weakening of relations with the
different providers of the foundation and consequently the performance of their social work
is increasingly affected, a situation that causes some of the beneficiaries to opt
for the cancellation of their participation in the Organization.
This research is addressed in the sub-line of Financial Management
and Social Commitment provided by the School of Accounting and Auditing of the Faculty

| dc.description.abstract | En Ecuador existen un grupo importante de fundaciones que se dedican a la labor
social una de ellas es la FUNDACIÓN CENTRO DE DESARROLLO INTEGRAL MISIÓN
DE INTERSECIÓN FAMILIAR cuya misión es liberar a los niños de la pobreza de la
provincia de Los Ríos.
Ante las condiciones deplorables de vida de los infantes de la Provincia de Los Ríos,
dedicados a la mendicidad en los alrededores surgió la FUNDACIÓN CENTRO DE
DESARROLLO INTEGRAL MISIÓN DE INTERSECIÓN FAMILIAR en el año 1985
fundada por el Señor Rev. Everett Swanson, quien comenzó a trabajar a favor de estos niños
rescatándolos de las calles proporcionándole un hogar alimento y vestido.
Con ese fin la fundación tiene cuatros programas direccionados a los niños de la
Provincia, estos son los programas de Supervivencia infantil, Patrocinio y, Liderazgo e
Intervención Complementaria donde los niños y madres que se encuentran en gestación
recibiendo beneficios como controles médicos que promuevan el desarrollo saludable del
niño hasta los tres años, seguimientos médicos, ayudas en el campo tanto de la educación,
salud, económica e incluso una orientación vocacional hacia la ayuda comunitaria.
La institución recibe dos tipos de ingresos para cumplir con estas labores, los de
autogestión que proviene de la venta de almuerzos y entradas al cine, y las donaciones de
una fundación benefactora llamada Compassion International.
Para registrar estos ingresos la entidad cuenta con un sistema contable llamado
SIIDEN el cual no se encuentra en red y tampoco es automatizado siendo manejado por una

persona que no cuenta con la destreza para manejo del sistema ni posee los conocimientos
sobre la ciencia contable necesarios para desempeñar esta función.
Esto provoca dificultades en el registro de los ingresos lo cual ocasiona desajustes en
las operaciones cotidianas de la FUNDACIÓN CENTRO DE DESARROLLO INTEGRAL
MISIÓN DE INTERSECIÓN FAMILIAR.
Estos desajustes traen como consecuencia un debilitamiento de las relaciones con los
distintos proveedores de la fundación y consecuentemente el desempeño de su labor social
se ve cada vez más afectado, situación que provoca que algunos de los beneficiarios opten
por la cancelación de su participación en la Organización.
Esta investigación se encuentra direccionada en la sublínea de la Gestión financiera
y Compromiso social proporcionada por la Escuela de Contaduría y Auditoría de la Facultad
