dc.description	The research deals with the knowledge and attitudes of parents regarding the vaccination of their children in the Fertisa health center in the city of Guayaquil. The objective is to assess the knowledge that mothers have with children under 1 year of age, to give post-vaccination care at home; the methodology is quantitative with a positivist approach, the sample selected was 62 mothers. The questionnaire was used as an instrument, with 10 questions that respond to the research variable, then the data was tabulated in the Microsoft Excel program. The results reflect 70% of the mothers affirm that they have not received extensive information about vaccines, care and prevention, while 30% of mothers say that they have received very clear information about the care they should give the child after vaccination. It should be noted that 50% of the information about the vaccines that will be applied to the child is provided by the doctor, while 40% of the information is provided by the licensed nurse. It is concluded that there is ignorance in the mothers of family about the care they should provide at home after vaccinating the child. We recommend the institution especially nurses to develop interactive education programs on the subject of post-vaccination care to strengthen the knowledge of mothers.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La investigación trata de los conocimientos y actitudes de los padres frente a la vacunación de sus hijos en el Centro de Salud Fertisa en la ciudad de Guayaquil. El objetivo es valorar el conocimiento que tienen las madres con niños/as menores de 1 año, para dar cuidados post-vacúnales en el hogar; la metodología es cuantitativa con enfoque positivista, la muestra seleccionada fue de 62 madres de familia. Se utilizo como instrumento el cuestionario, con 10 preguntas que responden a la variable de la investigación, posteriormente se procedió a tabulación de los datos en el programa Microsoft Excel. Los resultados reflejan 70% de las madres de familia afirman que no han recibido una información amplia sobre las vacunas, cuidados y prevención, mientras que el 30% de las madres afirman que si han recibido información muy clara sobre los cuidados que deben dar al niño después de vacunarlo. Cabe recalcar que el 50% de la información sobre las vacunas que se le va aplicar al niño la brinda el médico, mientras que en un 40% de la información la brinda la licenciada de Enfermería. Se concluye que existe desconocimiento en las madres de familia sobre los cuidados que deben brindar en el hogar después de vacunar al niño. Recomendamos a la Institución en especial a los profesionales de enfermería elaborar programas de educación interactiva acerca de la temática de los cuidados post- vacúnales para fortalecer los conocimientos de las madres	es_ES
