dc.descriptionTransformational leadership is fundamental to the functioning and achievement of objectives of any organization. It is composed of people who share the same goal: professional growth and contributing to the growth of the organization. Therefore, the existence of a leader who transmits leadership and enables the members of the organization to become leaders is vital, as the interests of the organization come before personal interests. However, the more transformational leaders there are, the more the organization will grow, as will its followers. Among the functions of a leader is possessing authority, which allows them to: guide, direct, resolve conflicts, establish norms, create rules, modify procedures, create a positive work environment, among others. Based on the considerations outlined above, leadership is demonstrated by appropriately exercising authority, innovating procedures, designing democratic and creative leadership styles, and when subordinates trust, believe, and follow them, viewing their work as an act of freedom, a challenge, and, above all, an act of humility. For this reason, it is necessary to develop transformational leadership skills during the administrative management of Ecuadorian public companies. It is important to note that, while it is true that within every organization there are leaders who occupy higher-level positions, sometimes they lack the qualities of a transformational leader. Despite having all the necessary staff and tools to achieve the company's objectives, this is not possible due to a poor work environment, the use of outdated procedures, a lack of authority, rules, and good work strategies. However, when a transformational leader exists within an organization, despite not having the necessary team or tools to perform better, the organization, despite all these limitations, manages to achieve objectives for the benefit of the organization. They do not limit themselves, but rather seek to create and innovate procedures that allow them to achieve their objectives and even exceed them. As can be seen, it is necessary to conduct a study on the importance of implementing transformational leadership in Ecuador's public companies, in order to improve the organization's education, enhance the services offered, and increase the company's production to elevate its positioning and recognition locally, nationally, and internationally.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl liderazgo transformacional es fundamental para el funcionamiento y logro de objetivos de toda organización, está compuesta por personas que tienen el mismo objetivo, esto es, crecer profesionalmente y contribuir en el crecimiento de la organización. Por lo que, es vital la existencia de un líder que transmita liderazgo y permita que los miembros de la organización se conviertan en líderes, por cuanto los intereses de la organización se interponen a los personales. No obstante, mientras más lideres transformacionales existan, la organización crecerá al igual que sus seguidores. Dentro de las funciones del líder esta poseer autoridad, misma que le permitirá: orientar, guiar, dirigir, resolver conflictos, establecer normas, crear reglas, modificar procedimientos, crear un buen ambiente laboral, entre otros. Por las consideraciones expuestas, el liderazgo se demuestra al ejercer de formar idónea su autoridad, al innovar los procedimientos, al diseñar estilos democráticos y creativos de dirección, cuando su subordinado confía, cree y le sigue, tomando su trabajo como un acto de libertad, como un desafío, y sobre todo como un acto de humildad. Es por ello que resulta necesario ejercer competencias para el liderazgo transformacional durante la gestión administrativa de las empresas públicas del Ecuador. Es importantes señalar que, si bien es cierto dentro de toda organización existen jefes que ocupan puestos jerárquicos superior, en ocasiones estos no posees las cualidades de un líder transformacional y a pesar que contar todo el personal y las herramientas de trabajo necesarias para lograr los objetivos de la empresa, esto no es posible por el mal ambiente laboral, el uso de procedimientos antiguos, la falta de autoridad, de reglas y de buenas estrategias laborales. Sin embargo, cuando existe un líder transformacional dentro de una organización, a pesar de no contar con el equipo de trabajo, así como las herramientas que permitan tener un mejor desempeño, la organización con todas estas limitaciones logra alcanzar objetivos en beneficio de la misma, por cuanto no se limitan, sino más bien buscan crear e innovar procedimientos que le permitan lograr los objetivos e inclusive superarlos. Como puede apreciarse resulta necesario realizar un estudio sobre la importancia de la implementación de liderazgo transformacional en las empresas pública del Ecuador, a fin de mejorar la educación de la organización, mejorar los servicios que se ofrecen e incrementar la producción de la empresa para elevar su posicionamiento y reconocimiento a escala local, nacional y extranjera.es_ES
