dc.description | Technology has revolutionized the tourism sector in Guayaquil, Ecuador, facilitating better accessibility for all individuals, particularly those with disabilities and the elderly. In recent decades, the implementation of innovations such as mobile applications, digital platforms and adaptive devices have enriched the tourist experience, providing real-time accessibility data and facilitating more independent interaction with places of interest. This inclusion not only benefits visitors, but also enhances the lives of local inhabitants, promoting a fairer and more sustainable environment. The implementation of affordable technologies is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially goal 11, which seeks to make cities inclusive and sustainable. Despite progress, challenges remain, such as the absence of clear regulations and the requirement for investment in infrastructure. It is essential that governments and companies work together to define standards and provide training to personnel in the use of these technologies. The study proposes that inclusive tourism could have a beneficial effect on the local economy, taking into account that more than 15% of the global population lives with disabilities. Thus, the use of inclusive technology in Guayaquil not only increases accessibility, but also promotes sustainable and socially responsible tourism growth. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
