dc.descriptionObjective: To analyze the influence of parental attachment on the personal and professional decisions of women aged 25 to 35 years from the citadel “el chorrillo” in the Babahoyo canton. Materials and methods: Quantitative, non-experimental study, with a descriptive and correlational design, carried out among women aged 25 to 35 years from the citadel "El Chorrillo". The research was carried out with an adjusted sample of 123 through formula, guaranteeing representative results with a confidence level of 95%. Results: In a sample of 123 women it was shown that a majority of women value independence and emotional security in relationships, with 47.2% prioritizing emotional security and 56.1% highlighting the importance of emotional compatibility. Regarding parental attachment, 68.3% recognized the influence of their parents' values on their current decisions, while 41.5% felt insecure about how their parents responded to their emotional needs. Conclusions: The study shows that parental attachment influences adult relationships, with the majority valuing security and emotional compatibility. Some women have difficulty trusting their partners, reflecting anxious or avoidant attachment patterns. Childhood experiences, such as emotional insecurity, impact the ability to form healthy relationships. This study highlights the need for psychoeducational interventions aimed at strengthening emotional security from childhood to foster more balanced emotional relationships in adulthood.es_ES

dc.description.abstractAnalizar la influencia del apego parental en las decisiones personales y profesionales de mujeres de 25 a 35 años de la ciudadela “el chorrillo” del cantón Babahoyo. Materiales y métodos: Estudio cuantitativo, no experimental, de diseño descriptivo y correlacional, realizado entre mujeres de 25 a 35 años de la ciudadela "El Chorrillo". La investigación se llevó a cabo con una muestra ajustada de 123 a través de formula, garantizando resultados representativos con un nivel de confianza del 95%. Resultados: En una muestra de 123 mujeres mostraron que una mayoría de las mujeres valora la independencia y la seguridad emocional en las relaciones, con un 47.2% priorizando la seguridad emocional y un 56.1% destacando la importancia de la compatibilidad emocional. En cuanto al apego parental, un 68.3% reconoce la influencia de los valores de sus padres en sus decisiones actuales, mientras que un 41.5% se sintió inseguro respecto a cómo sus padres respondían a sus necesidades emocionales. Conclusiones: El estudio muestra que el apego parental influye en las relaciones adultas, con la mayoría valorando la seguridad y compatibilidad emocional. Algunas mujeres presentan dificultades para confiar en sus parejas, lo que refleja patrones de apego ansioso o evitativo. Las experiencias infantiles, como la inseguridad emocional, impactan en la capacidad para establecer relaciones saludables. Este estudio resalta la necesidad de intervenciones psicoeducativas orientadas a fortalecer la seguridad emocional desde la infancia para fomentar relaciones afectivas más equilibradas en la adultez.es_ES
