dc.description | Hellp syndrome is a rare but life-threatening condition during gestation. It causes the breakdown of red blood cells in the blood. In addition, it causes liver problems, bleeding and blood pressure. It is often linked to pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. It is a health problem that can be life-threatening for both mother and fetus, and timely treatment and delivery of the newborn is essential to avoid further complications. The letters of the word HELLP have the following meaning: Hemolysis (hemolysis). It is the breakdown of red blood cells. Elevated Liver enzymes. Damage to liver cells causes disturbances in liver function. Low Platelets. Platelets are blood cells that facilitate blood clotting to regulate blood flow. The present clinical case is about a 24 year old primigravida patient with 33 weeks of gestation by last menstrual period who comes to the General Hospital Dr. Liborio Panchana Sotomana. Liborio Panchana Sotomayor General Hospital of Santa Elena referred for incomplete hellp syndrome plus severe preeclampsia plus feltal obito. In the hospital there is evidence of a clinical picture characterized by blood pressure 160/100 mmhg, respiratory rate 24 breaths per minute, heart rate 102 beats per minute, positive proteinuria, giving a Mom Score of 9, acute pain in the abdomen, anemia and thrombositopenia. She was admitted to the gynecology area, where an efficient and comprehensive nursing care process was implemented, providing nursing actions to the pregnant woman during her stay in the hospital, contributing to the improvement of her health and achieving the patient's reincorporation into society. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
