dc.description | This clinical case study focuses on a 63-year-old male patient who presented with a clinical picture lasting more than 15 days, characterized by intermittent cough with whitish mucous expectoration and general discomfort. The patient was diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) through a BK test on January 25, 2024 (+). He initially started first-line anti-TB treatment on January 25, 2024, which continued until February 2, 2024 (7 doses). However, molecular test results obtained on February 2, 2024, revealed GENEXPERT Ultra MTB detected with resistance to rifampicin and GENEXPERT XDR with resistance to isoniazid. Consequently, the case was presented to the MDR-TB treatment committee for further evaluation. A head-to-toe assessment was conducted, along with complementary diagnostic methods, confirming the presence of multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis (MDR-TB). Additionally, Marjory Gordon’s altered functional health patterns were identified, highlighting the patient’s health compromise. These alterations were promptly addressed by the nursing staff through the Nursing Care Process (PAE), utilizing NANDA, NOC, and NIC taxonomies. The patient is currently receiving anti-TB treatment as per the committee’s recommendations. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
