In this research, the interaction between biocontrol agents (Trichoderma harzianum and Bacillus thuringiensis) and organic fertilizers (fruit tea and organic fertilizer) in the cultivation of pepper (Capsicum annuum) in two locations in Ecuador: Babahoyo and Febres Cordero was evaluated. An experiment was designed with sixteen treatments consisting of various combinations of these products, applied in a completely randomized design with three repetitions. For statistical analysis, Tukey's multiple comparison test was applied with a significance level of 5%. The results obtained showed that the treatments applied were significant in the development and productivity of the pepper crop. The interaction of biocontrol agents and organic fertilizers promoted an increase in plant height as well as in the number of leaves and fruit production. Where the application of T. harzianum, B. thuringiensis, fruit tea and biol favored a more favorable growth and also reduced the severity of diseases that were more harmful to the crop. In the Febres Cordero area, the best yields were shown, due to the more favorable soil and climate conditions in that area. Fruit tea stood out in the increase in the weight of the fruits, while the use of biocontrollers decreased the percentage of damage caused by pests. This indicates that the integration of biocontrollers and organic fertilizers is an effective combination to improve the yield of the pepper crop to promote a sustainable approach that reduces the contamination of many chemicals applied to the crop and thus improves health and productivity, but also contributes to environmental sustainability, making it a viable alternative for agriculture in tropical regions.es_ES
