| dc.description | In the work presented, the use and adaptability of QuickBooks and SAP platforms in the financial companies of SMEs in the city of Babahoyo has been approached and analyzed. The main financial needs that these SMEs have have been identified, as well as the obstacles they face in the use of digital tools and the digital environment, such as low knowledge, costs, distrust in technologies, etc. The results have shown that although the majority of SMEs use a digital tool, but there will always be a digital divide. QuickBooks has proven to be easier and more efficient for small businesses, while SAP is a good option for those that require more interconnection with other areas of activity. In conclusion, the implementation of these platforms facilitates better sustainability of SMEs and, therefore, better business decisions. Digital tools should be improved, to facilitate access to technology platforms and improve the implementation to improve the sustainability of SMEs in the city of Babahoyo. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el trabajo presentado se ha abordado y analizado el uso y la adaptabilidad de las plataformas QuickBooks y SAP en las empresas financieras de las pymes de la ciudad Babahoyo. Se han identificado las principales necesidades financieras que tienen estas pymes, así como los obstáculos a los que se enfrentan en la utilización de herramientas digitales y el entorno digital, como son el escaso conocimiento, los costos, la desconfianza en las tecnologías, etc. Los resultados han mostrado que, aunque la mayoría de las pymes utilizan una herramienta digital, pero siempre va a existir una brecha digital. QuickBooks ha demostrado ser más fácil y eficiente para las pequeñas empresas, mientras que SAP es una buena opción para aquellas que requieren más interconexión con otras áreas de actividad. En conclusión, la implementación de estas plataformas facilita tener una mejor sostenibilidad de las pymes y, por lo tanto, mejores decisiones empresariales.
