This project focuses on the physiotherapeutic intervention for a 55-year-old male patient with a right tibial plateau fracture, aiming to determine the benefits of such therapy in his recovery. Through a structured approach, the patient’s clinical and functional characteristics were assessed before and after the intervention, identifying joint, muscular, and functional limitations. Techniques employed included cryotherapy, electrotherapy, passive mobilizations, isometric and functional exercises, and gait re-education. The therapeutic plan was divided into phases prioritizing pain and inflammation control, followed by muscle strengthening and improvements in balance and mobility. Results demonstrated satisfactory recovery, with significant improvements in range of motion, muscle strength, and overall functionality, as well as prevention of potential sequelae such as osteoarthritis. This project highlights the importance of an integrated and personalized physiotherapy approach to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.es_ES
