| dc.description | The research Project focused on the integrated managament of solid waste and sustainable tourism in the Ruta del Río in the Canton of Quevedo, using a qualitative and quantitative methodology, which allowed an in-depth analysis of the information collected on key points such as solid waste management practices , the participation of the businesses that are part of the Ruta del Río, highlighting its impact on natural resources and sustainable tourism activity in the canton. The research sought to recommend several estrategias to strengthen sustainable tourism development achieving economic and environmental benefits, emphasizing the importance of conserving natural resources to avoid a negative impact and improve the quality of life of those involved in addition to adapting better measures for the collection process of these wastes. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto de investigación se centró en la gestión integral de residuos sólidos y el turismo sostenible en el la Ruta del Río del cantón Quevedo, mediante una metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa , lo que permitió realizar un análisis profundo de la información recopilada en puntos clave como las prácticas de gestión de residuos sólidos, la participación de las autoridades y el sistema de control que tienen los propietarios de los negocios que forman parte de esta Ruta del Río , destacando su impacto en los recursos naturales y la actividad turística sostenible del cantón. La investigación buscó recomendar varias estrategias que permitieron fortalecer el desarrollo turístico sostenible logrando beneficios económicos y ambientales, enfatizando la importancia de conservar recursos naturales para evitar un impacto negativo y mejorar la calidad de vida de los involucrados además de adaptar mejores medidas para el proceso de recolección de estos desechos. | es_ES |
