dc.description | ABSTRACT
The present research work was carried out due to the problem of determining how the quality of tourist services influences gastronomic tourism in the city of Babahoyo in order to propose a quality management system for tourist services to promote gastronomic tourism in the locality.
By means of this research work, the factors influencing the variables of the proposed topic, that is, the quality in the attention of tourist services and gastronomic tourism, are exposed bibliographically and a methodology based on descriptive research and with a qualitative and quantitative approach is proposed to determine the facts that influence the problem and collect through the techniques and instruments of research, the necessary information to generate the due conclusions and recommendations, as well as the proposal of a proposal that allows solving the exposed problem.
The results obtained point to the possible use of quality management systems based on ISO 90001:2015 by the owners of gastronomic tourism sites in the city of Babahoyo in order to improve the quality of service offered to tourists arriving in the town and thus enhance both tourism and make the gastronomy of Babahoyo known to visitors. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación se efectuó debido a la problemática de determinar cómo la calidad en la atención del servicio turístico influye en el turismo gastronómico de la Ciudad de Babahoyo para de esa manera plantear como objetivo el proponer un sistema de gestión de calidad de los servicios turísticos para potenciar el turismo gastronómico de la localidad.
Mediante el presente trabajo investigativo se expone bibliográficamente los factores influyentes en las variables del tema planteado, es decir, sobre la calidad en la atención de servicios turísticos y el turismo gastronómico y se plantea una metodología basada en la investigación descriptiva y con un enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo para determinar los hechos que influyen en el problema y recolectar mediante las técnicas e instrumentos de investigación, la información necesaria para generar las debidas conclusiones y recomendaciones, así como el planteamiento de una propuesta que permita solventar el problema expuesto.
Los resultados obtenidos orientan al posible uso de sistemas de gestión de calidad basados en las ISO 90001:2015 por parte de los dueños de locales o sitios que se dedican al turismo gastronómico en la ciudad de Babahoyo con la finalidad de mejorar la calidad del servicio ofrecido a los turistas que llegan a la localidad y así potenciar tanto el turismo como dar a conocer la gastronomía de Babahoyo a los visitantes. | es_ES |
