| dc.description.abstract | La hidranencefalia consiste en la falta de los hemisferios cerebral, los cuales no se desarrollan completamente mente o presentan la ausencia de uno de ellos, estos mismos serán remplazados por líquido cefalorraquídeo que van a llenar en el hemisferio cerebral afectado. Esta condición no posee un tratamiento conocido y a la vez el pronóstico de vida de la persona afectado es baja, el periodo de vida puede darse hasta tres años, reconociendo donde se aloje la afectación del hemisferio cerebral, pero con requerimiento de apoyo de un cuidador, en las funciones físicas y cognitivas para avanzar con su enfermad. El presente caso clínico se elabora con el fin de describir la enfermedad y aplicar de la teorizante de Marjory Gordon para la identificación de problemas de salud del recién nacido, el cual ingreso en el Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro.
