dc.descriptionThis study addressed training strategies and their impact on the athletic performance of the University Technical Football team in Babahoyo. The primary objective was to identify and analyze the most effective training techniques to enhance player performance in university competitions. The research was justified by the need to elevate the level of athletic performance in university football, considering the resource limitations and specific characteristics of the team and its environment. The methodology employed was explanatory and descriptive. The descriptive research allowed for the identification and presentation of specific aspects of the study variables, while the explanatory research focused on understanding and explaining the causal relationships between training strategies and athletic performance. The research design was mixed, combining documentary and field approaches, and was considered non-experimental. Techniques such as direct observation, surveys, document collection, and focus groups were used for data collection. The instruments employed included questionnaires, checklists, and observation forms. The target population consisted of the 22 football players and the 4 coaching staff members of the University Technical in Babahoyo. The sample was selected using simple random sampling for the players and convenience sampling for the coaching staff.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEste estudio abordó las estrategias de entrenamiento y su impacto en el rendimiento deportivo de la selección de fútbol de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo. El objetivo principal fue identificar y analizar las técnicas de entrenamiento más efectivas para mejorar el rendimiento de los jugadores en competencias universitarias. La investigación se justificó por la necesidad de elevar el nivel de rendimiento deportivo en el fútbol universitario, considerando las limitaciones de recursos y las características específicas del equipo y su entorno. La metodología empleada fue de tipo explicativa y descriptiva. La investigación descriptiva permitió identificar y presentar aspectos específicos de las variables de estudio, mientras que la investigación explicativa se centró en entender y explicar las relaciones causales entre las estrategias de entrenamiento y el rendimiento deportivo. El diseño de la investigación fue mixto, combinando enfoques documentales y de campo, y se consideró no experimental. Se utilizaron técnicas como la observación directa, encuestas, recopilación documental y focus groups para la recolección de datos. Los instrumentos empleados incluyeron cuestionarios, fichas de cotejo y fichas de observación. La población objetivo estuvo compuesta por los 22 jugadores del equipo de fútbol y las 4 personas del cuerpo técnico de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo. La muestra se seleccionó mediante un muestreo aleatorio simple para los jugadores y un muestreo por conveniencia para el cuerpo técnico.es_ES
