dc.descriptionThe present research titled “APPLICATION OF TRADITIONAL GAMES IN THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS FOR EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT “ADOLFO MARÍA ASTUDILLO” OF THE BABAHOYO CANTON - LOS RÍOS PROVINCE” aims to develop a methodological guide for the practice of traditional games within physical education classes for eighth grade students of the Educational Unit “Adolfo María Astudillo” of the Babahoyo canton, Los Ríos province. The theoretical bases specifically state that traditional games are important in society to not lose ancestral traditions, creating bonds and affective connections among the community. However, in the educational context, it is important because it promotes a form of meaningful learning through play, where methodological strategies adapted for the pedagogical and formative context are applied, taking into account features of ethnic groups and thus being able to introduce them within physical education classes to develop basic motor skills and physical abilities in young people aged 12-13 years. Through these traditional games, they can improve in the most creative way with educational foundation rooted in the culture of the area. To achieve the objectives, quantitative methods were used, descriptive related to the context of the investigation and reality. An intentional sample of students and teachers was selected for data collection, after the application of the survey and interview that evaluated the level of knowledge about traditional games in the development of motor skills and physical abilitieses_ES

dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación titulada APLICACIÓN DE LOS JUEGOS TRADICIONALES EN LA CLASE DE EDUCACIÓN FÍSICA EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DE OCTAVO AÑO DE BÁSICA DE LA UNIDAD EDUCATIVA “ADOLFO MARÍA ASTUDILLO” DEL CANTÓN BABAHOYO -PROVINCIA DE LOS RÍOS que tiene como objetivo elaborar guía metodológica para la práctica de los juegos tradicionales dentro de las clases de educación física en los estudiantes de octavo año de educación básica de la Unidad Educativa “Adolfo María Astudillo” del cantón Babahoyo provincia Los Ríos. En las bases teóricas consta específicamente que los juegos tradicionales son importantes en la sociedad para no perder las tradiciones ancestrales creando lazos y conexiones afectivas entre la comunidad, pero en el contexto educativo es importante porque impulsa una forma de aprendizaje significativo a través del juego, donde se aplican estrategias metodológicas adaptadas para el contexto pedagógico y formativo, tomando en cuenta rasgos de las etnias y así poder introducirlas dentro de las clases de educación física para desarrollar habilidades motrices básicas y capacidades físicas en los jóvenes de 12-13 años y a través de estos juegos tradicionales puedan mejorar, de la forma más creativa con fundamentación educativa arraigada en la cultura de la zona. Para dar cumplimiento a los objetivos se utilizaron métodos cuantitativos, descriptivo relacionados al contexto de la investigación y a la realidad. Se seleccionó una muestra intencional de estudiantes y docentes para la recolección de información, después de la aplicación de la encuesta y entrevista que evaluó el nivel de conociendo sobre los juegos tradicionales en el desarrollo de habilidades motrices y capacidades físicas.es_ES
