| dc.description | Complications after the puerperium correspond to one of the main causes of maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide. In Ecuador, 110 deaths of women were recorded during the maternity period, with 85.45% of these deaths occurring in the first 42 days after childbirth. The objective of the research work will be to determine the incidence of complications after the puerperium focused on women between 30 and 35 years of age treated at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Hospital during the period from January to June 2024. The research methodology that will be applied It will be quantitative, deductive, basic, non-experimental, documentary, descriptive and transversal. The information will be collected through the review and analysis of the database that will be provided by the hospital's statistical department. The study sample will consist of pregnant women who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria established in the thesis, the results will be reflected through the use of tables and graphs where the results will be grouped according to the objectives set out in the thesis, for Lastly, conclusions and recommendations will be made based on the objectives set in this research. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Las dificultades que surgen tras el periodo posparto son una de las principales razones de enfermedad y fallecimiento de madres en todo el mundo. Durante el periodo de maternidad en Ecuador, se documentaron 110 decesos de mujeres, con el 85,45% de estas tragedias teniendo lugar en los primeros 42 días tras el parto. En este estudio se describen las complicaciones que se presentan tras el periodo posparto en mujeres de entre 30 y 35 años que recibieron atención en el Hospital Sagrado Corazón de Jesús entre enero y junio de 2024. Se utilizo una metodología de investigación cuantitativa, deductiva, básica no experimental, documental, descriptiva y transversal. Se recopilo la información a través de la inspección y evaluación de la base de datos suministrada por el departamento de estadística del hospital. La muestra de este estudio fue de 67 pacientes, quienes cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, luego de tabular los datos estos se presentaron a través de tablas y gráficos que organizarán los resultados según los objetivos planteados. Finalmente, plantean las conclusiones y recomendaciones basadas en los objetivos de la investigación. | es_ES |
