The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of family support during humanized childbirth on the quality of obstetric care provided to pregnant women who attend the Alfredo Noboa Montenegro Hospital. A quantitative methodological approach was used, since the data obtained was through the statistical review of medical records of the pregnant women who were seen in those limited months of January - April 2024, the sample taken was 138 pregnant women who gave birth. delivery in the established months, corresponding to 100% of the population. Once the research instrument was applied, it was found that family support is positively effective in the process of both labor and delivery in patients, providing them with security and support and allowing this procedure to be more satisfactory.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEn Ecuador desde hace pocos años atrás se implementó las normas ESAMYN las cuales buscan reducir la muerte materna y neonatal, dentro de uno de sus componentes está el acompañamiento familiar, el cual durante el proceso del parto va a ayudar a reducir el estrés y ansiedad, ayudando a la mujer gestante a canalizar mejor el dolor dándole facilidad del parto. El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar los efectos del acompañamiento familiar durante el parto humanizado en la calidad de la atención obstétrica brindada a las gestantes que acuden al Hospital Alfredo Noboa Montenegro. Se empleó un enfoque metodológico cuantitativo, ya que los datos obtenidos fueron a través de la revisión estadística de historias clínicas de las gestantes que se hicieron atender en esos meses de limitados de enero - abril 2024, la muestra tomada fue de 138 embarazadas que dieron su parto en los meses establecidos, correspondientes al 100% de la población. Una vez aplicado el instrumento de investigación se obtuvo que el acompañamiento familiar tiene una efectividad de manera positiva en el proceso tanto de trabajo de parto, como el parto en las pacientes, brindándoles seguridad y soporte y permitiendo que este procedimiento sea más satisfactorio.es_ES
