Postpartum hemorrhage is one of the main indicators of maternal mortality considered serious, therefore it is relevant that practical techniques for their management are adapted to control these complications. In this sense, the objective of this research is to analyze the incidence of uterine massages in reducing postpartum hemorrhages at the Liborio Panchana Sotomayor Hospital, period 2022-2023. As a methodology, an inductive design with a descriptive, longitudinal-retrospective approach was applied. For the study sample, 315 users who were treated for childbirth or cesarean section during the periods 2022 and 2023 at the health institution are considered, information obtained from the database of the patients' medical records. To collect information, it was decided to apply a survey and carry out the documentary review relevant to the case studied. The results showed that the uterine massage variable shows a moderate positive significant relationship of 0.659 towards the reduction of postpartum hemorrhage, being p<0.05.es_ES
