dc.description | Adolescents in late postpartum can face a variety of complications affecting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. A comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach is essential to address these complications, providing appropriate medical care, psychological support, and educational and social resources. Therefore, a study was conducted to identify late postpartum complications in adolescents treated at Hospital Liborio Panchana Sotomayor. The research is deductive-descriptive, non-experimental with a cross-sectional design using a quantitative method. Statistical information was collected, data were processed, and tables and graphs were created to provide a broader understanding of late postpartum issues in adolescents treated at the hospital. The sample was selected through non-probabilistic sampling and consisted of 34 postpartum adolescent users. The study found that 68% of adolescents in late postpartum present significant complications, with hemorrhages and stress being the most frequent. Physical, social, and economic risk factors notably influence these complications, highlighting the need to improve access to healthcare services and the implementation of clinical protocols. An integrated strategy is required, encompassing adequate care, support in underserved areas, and rigorous application of guidelines to optimize postpartum outcomes for adolescents. | es_ES |
