dc.description.abstractLas complicaciones obstétricas en gestantes multíparas con cesáreas previas han sido objeto de creciente interés y estudio en los últimos años, es decir, las gestantes multíparas con antecedentes de cesáreas anteriores enfrentan riesgos significativos. Por ello se pretende realizar la presente investigación que tiene como objetivo determinar las complicaciones obstétricas en gestantes multíparas con cesáreas anteriores atendidas en el Hospital General Liborio pancha Sotomayor Santa Elena, periodo septiembre 2023 – agosto 2024. El estudio aplicó una metodología de método descriptivo-prospectivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental- transversal; su muestra estuvo conformada por 79 pacientes multíparas que han sido atendidas en el área de gineco-obstetricia y presentaron complicaciones obstétricas. Según los resultados de la investigación, arrojó que entre las complicaciones obstétricas más comunes se enmarcó la hemorragia postparto, y de sus comorbidades que preexisten en multíparas con cesáreas anteriores se evidenció que fue la hipertensión gestacional, considerando necesario el manejo eficiente del protocolo que en la institución mantengan sobre el control de estas complicaciones.es_ES
