dc.description | The problem of arterial hypertension in patients at the By Pass Babahoyo health center is addressed in this study, being a prevalent chronic condition that requires effective management to prevent serious complications. The general objective of the research is to determine the influence of the promotion of healthy lifestyles in the control of arterial hypertension in this population. A mixed approach methodology was used that integrates qualitative data, obtained through semi-structured interviews and observations, with quantitative data collected through structured surveys. The results of the study show that, although patients have general knowledge about hypertension and healthy habits, this knowledge is insufficient to guarantee optimal management of the condition. The main barriers are identified as lack of time, information and economic resources, which makes it difficult to adopt healthy lifestyle habits. The conclusions of the study highlight the importance of improving education for patients with hypertension. Likewise, the relevance of interventions that effectively address the identified barriers is emphasized. These interventions seek to facilitate changes in daily routines that promote hypertension control and improve patients' quality of life, suggesting that this comprehensive approach could serve as a model for future initiatives in contexts with limited resources. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
