dc.description | The present clinical case documents the successful adaptation of soft toric contact lenses in a 25-year-old female patient with compound hyperopic astigmatism. The patient, a teacher, experienced blurred and distorted vision, eye strain, and headaches, impacting her quality of life and work performance. The optometric evaluation revealed decreased visual acuity both with and without her current correction. The diagnosis of compound hyperopic astigmatism was confirmed through objective optometric examinations. The adaptation of soft toric contact lenses was carried out considering the corneal parameters and her refraction. The patient reported a significant improvement in her vision, comfort, and ability to perform daily activities, including her work as a teacher and her involvement in weightlifting. The 3-month follow-up corroborated the effectiveness of the treatment and the absence of complications. The case highlights the importance of individualized contact lens fitting to correct refractive errors and improve visual quality. These contact lenses proved to be an effective and comfortable solution for the patient, providing clear and stable vision, improving her self-esteem, and facilitating her social and work integration. This study emphasizes patient education and periodic follow-up to ensure successful adaptation. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
