A cerebrovascular accident or stroke is a clinical syndrome also called stroke, which is characterized by the interruption of blood flow to the brain with alterations in brain cognitive functions. This can also be classified according to its nature which can be hemorrhagic or ischemic with damage to certain areas of adjustment of an individual. The present study will serve to expand information on the definition, types, cause, factors, physiotherapy procedures such as scales, actions for a physiotherapy approach for postural control in patients diagnosed with stroke who attend the Icaza mixed hospital in the APRIL period. 2024 TO AUGUST 2024. Regarding methodology, the research design follows a mixed approach that refers to the techniques used to obtain the information. To carry out a sampling, 100 patients were selected, only those who had loss of postural control were chosen. Using data collection techniques, the procedures applied were collected since the patients showed an improvement in postural control. It should be noted that physiotherapy goes hand in hand with a multidisciplinary team that will help the patient's health and physical condition remain in optimal conditions for proper recovery.es_ES
