dc.descriptionThe breeding and management of Broiler chicken production is of utmost importance, for what concerns the commercialization and profitability of our country, since the demand for the consumption of chickens here in Ecuador is very high. However, the sustainability and competitiveness of this industry face increasing challenges, from fluctuations in prices of inputs and final products to changes in national and international market demand. Therefore, the objective of this study focuses on analyzing the commercialization of broiler chicken production in the context of the Ecuadorian economy. Therefore, in this study a deductive-descriptive approach was used, through an extensive review of the literature used in document analysis. The results have determined that the cost of production of broiler chickens in Ecuador is a combination of several factors that influence the profitability of this industry, the main cost components include feed since this can represent up to 70% of the total cost of production. production. Finally, it was concluded that the high costs of inputs such as feed and fluctuations in market prices represent significant obstacles that can limit the ability of producers to achieve consistent profit margins and affect the economic stability of the poultry sector.es_ES

dc.description.abstractLa crianza y el manejo de la producción de pollos Broilers es de suma importancia, para lo que compete a la comercialización y rentabilidad de nuestro país, ya que la demanda por el consumo de pollos aquí en el Ecuador es muy alta. Sin embargo, la sostenibilidad y competitividad de esta industria enfrentan desafíos cada vez mayores, desde fluctuaciones en los precios de los insumos y los productos finales hasta cambios en la demanda del mercado nacional e internacional. Por lo cual, el objetivo de este estudio se centra en analizar la comercialización de la producción de pollos Broilers en el contexto de la economía ecuatoriana. Por ende, en este estudio se utilizó un enfoque deductivo-descriptivo, a través de una extensa revisión de la literatura empleada en el análisis de documentos. Los resultados han determinado que el costo de producción de pollos Broilers en Ecuador es una combinación de varios factores que influyen en la rentabilidad de esta industria, los principales componentes de costo incluyen la alimentación ya que esta puede representar hasta el 70% del costo total de producción. Finalmente se concluyó que los altos costos de insumos como el alimento y las fluctuaciones en los precios de mercado, representan obstáculos significativos que pueden limitar la capacidad de los productores para alcanzar márgenes de beneficio consistentes y afectar la estabilidad económica del sector avícola.es_ES
