dc.description.abstractEl estudio se enfocó en identificar los factores de riesgo relacionados con el retraso psicomotor en niños atendidos en el Centro de Salud Puertas Negras, ubicado en Babahoyo, Los Ríos, entre noviembre de 2023 y abril de 2024. Se reconoce la importancia de abordar estos factores para intervenir tempranamente y prevenir complicaciones en el desarrollo infantil. La investigación, siguiendo criterios éticos y metodológicos, busca proporcionar información para mejorar la atención y promover la salud de los niños en esta comunidad por parte del personal de enfermería. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante encuestas utilizando un cuestionario dividido en dimensiones como dinámica funcional y antecedentes prenatales, perinatales y postnatales para evaluar el conocimiento sobre estimulación temprana y los factores de riesgo relacionados con el retraso psicomotor en los niños atendidos en el centro de salud mencionado. Los resultados se analizaron con Microsoft Excel, observando los principales factores de riesgo que influyen en el retraso psicomotor en los niños atendidos en el Centro de Salud Puertas Negras. Las conclusiones destacan la importancia de programas de estimulación temprana realizados por el personal de enfermería para prevenir y controlar el retraso psicomotor en niños, así como la necesidad de que las madres acudan a sus controles prenatales para evitar problemas en el momento del parto.es_ES
