| dc.description | This descriptive research was carried out at the IESS hospital, which aims to establish the nursing care process in a 23-year-old young adult diagnosed with traumatic brain injury; This being so relevant today because they are caused by traffic accidents triggering this pathology that causes a strong impact that the brain receives when colliding with the walls or bones of the skull, which can have various physical and neuropsychological consequences for a long time. TBI has a high mortality rate not only in Ecuador but in many countries in the region. It is economic, especially in the field of emergency services, since patients and/or their families spend on hospitals and medicines to restore the person's health. When applying the nursing care process, know the clinical manifestations and risk factors that led to these injuries and thus proceed with the interventions through the NANDA, NIC, NOC taxonomy along with the assessment through the patterns. Of the theorist Marjory Gordon, managing to obtain and provide the nursing diagnosis with good service in an effective, efficient manner. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación descriptiva se realizó en el hospital IESS la cual tiene como objetivo establecer el proceso de atención de enfermería en un adulto joven de 23 años de edad con diagnostico traumatismo craneoencefálico; Siendo esto tan relevante actualmente debido que son causados por accidentes de tránsito desencadenando esta patología que provoca un fuerte impacto que recibe el cerebro al chocar contra las paredes o huesos del cráneo, lo que puede tener diversas consecuencias físicas, neuropsicológicas por un tiempo prolongado. El TCE tiene una alta tasa de mortalidad no solo en Ecuador sino en muchos países de la región. Es lo económico, especialmente en el ámbito de los servicios de emergencia, ya que los pacientes y/o sus familias gastan en hospitales y medicamentos para restablecer la salud de la persona. Al momento de aplicar el proceso de atención de enfermería, conocer sus manifestaciones clínicas y factores de riesgo que llevaron a cabo estas lesiones y así proceder con las intervenciones a través de la taxonomía NANDA, NIC, NOC junto con la valoración por medio de los patrones funcionales de la teorizante Marjory Gordon, logrando obtener y brindar el diagnóstico de enfermería con buen servicio de manera eficaz, eficiente | es_ES |
