| dc.description | The following case study is applied to a 19-year-old female patient who presented with a clinical picture of ±4 months of evolution characterized by a 12-centimeter circular mass in the mandibular region of a purplish color with redness and indura, plus a sensation of paresthesia in the the mandibular region that causes difficulty when ingesting solids plus pain on palpation. When vital signs were taken, the patient presented blood pressure: 100/65mmHg, heart rate: 70lxmin, respiratory rate: 19rxmin, oxygen saturation: 98%, temperature 38.5ºC. In the physical evaluation, a circular mass was observed in the mandible with redness and warmth to the touch, while the inner surface of the lower jaw was swollen. A peripheral line is placed in the left upper limb and a hydration plan, antibiotics, antipyretics and analgesics are administered. The doctor observes and orders a complete blood count, ultrasound in the mandibular region, X-ray of the face and skull plus Waters X-ray. The nursing assessment is carried out using Marjorie Gordon's functional patterns in order to identify the altered patterns and treat them immediately by applying the Nursing Care Process that will be provided during hospitalization and thus meet the objectives proposed in this study. clinical case. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El siguiente estudio de caso está aplicado en paciente de sexo femenino de 19 años de edad por presentar cuadro clínico ±4 meses de evolución caracterizado por una masa circular de 12 centímetro en región mandibular de color violácea con rubor e indura, más sensación de parestesia en la región mandibular que le produce dificultad al ingerir sólidos más dolor a la palpación. A la toma de constantes vitales la paciente presenta presión arterial: 100/65mmHg, frecuencia cardiaca: 70lxmin, frecuencia respiratoria: 19rxmin, saturación de oxígeno: 98%, temperatura 38.5ºC. En la valoración física se observa masa circular en mandíbula con rubor y calor al tacto, mientras que en la cara interna del maxilar inferior se encuentra edematizadas. Se procede a colocar vía periférica en miembro superior izquierdo y se administra plan de hidratación, antibióticos, antipiréticos y analgésicos. Medico observa y ordena realizar una biometría hemática completa, ecografía en región mandibular, Rx de cara y cráneo más Rx de Waters. Se realiza la valoración de enfermería utilizando los patrones funcionales de Marjorie Gordon con la finalidad de identificar los patrones alterados y tratarlos de inmediato aplicando el Proceso de Atención en Enfermería que se le brindará durante la hospitalización y así cumplir con los objetivos propuestos en este estudio de caso clínico. | es_ES |
