dc.description | Introduction: the present research work aims to determine how different ametropias affect the work performance in workers of the planning and systems departments where we seek to know if these tend to present refractive problems, within societies to have a health system that understands the different problems that afflict citizens is fundamental since thanks to different ailments the quality of life.
Objective: to determine how ametropia affects the work performance of workers in the planning and systems departments of the Technical University of Babahoyo in the period November 2023 – April 2024.
Methodology: based on the need to determine data to help the verbosity of the research process, the observation and descriptive methods were taken into consideration, which allowed to know the problems and their causes, it has a bibliographic research where theoretical concepts and research used were descriptive, field research and cross-sectional research, as well as thed techniques were refraction test, direct observation and survey. Results: 40% present presbyopia and 23% present myopia, generated by different intervening factors such as age, lack of protection for blue screens, not having optometric check-ups, among others. Conclusion: Of the totality of the sample 25 collaborators presented ametropias where presbyopia, myopia and hyperopia prevail, in mention to this we can establish that these affect in a partial way in the labor activities of these individuals. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
