dc.descriptionThis thesis examines the problem of lack of connectivity in the learning process among fifth grade students at the Víctor Hugo Primary School, in the rural sector of Campo Alegre, in the canton of Babahoyo· This educational institution faces a significant lack of connectivity, which affects the effective use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education· The general objective is to determine the incidents caused by the lack of connectivity in the teaching-learning processes· The methodology used is a mixed research (quali-quantitative), with a correlational-explanatory level and a theoretical, analytical-synthetic and structural-functional method· The study reveals that lack of connectivity and unstable Internet at home and school can have a negative impact on learning· Students face serious limitations in accessing online resources, which creates significant challenges in integrating ICT tools into learning strategies· Despite the difficulties, students recognized the positive impact of the Internet on learning and considered it essential in educational activities· However, the lack of connectivity directly affects the teaching and learning process, perpetuates traditional and obsolete education, thus affecting the quality of education and the acquisition of competencies and skills necessary in the 21st century· Solutions were proposed to address the lack of connectivity in rural areas, such as the use of offline educational platforms, printed materials, portable devices preloaded with educational content, educational radio and television programs, classrooms equipped with the Internet, and alliances with telecommunications companies·es_ES

dc.description.abstractEsta tesis examina el problema de la falta de conectividad en el proceso de aprendizaje entre los estudiantes de quinto grado de la Escuela Primaria Víctor Hugo, en el sector rural de campo Alegre, del cantón de Babahoyo. Esta institución educativa enfrenta una importante falta de conectividad, lo que afecta el uso efectivo de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) en la educación. El objetivo general determinar las incidencias que causa la falta de conectividad en los procesos de enseñanza aprendizaje. La metodología utilizada es de una investigación mixta (cuali-cuantitativos), con un nivel de correlacional-explicativo y un método teóricos, analítico-sintético y el estructural-funcional. El estudio revela que la falta de conectividad y la inestabilidad de Internet en el hogar y la escuela pueden tener un impacto negativo en el aprendizaje. Los estudiantes enfrentan serias limitaciones para acceder a recursos en línea, lo que crea desafíos importantes a la hora de integrar herramientas TIC en las estrategias de aprendizaje. A pesar de las dificultades, los estudiantes reconocieron el impacto positivo de Internet en el aprendizaje y lo consideraron esencial en las actividades educativas. Sin embargo, la falta de conectividad afecta directamente el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, perpetúa la educación tradicional y obsoleta, afectando así la calidad de la educación y la adquisición de competencias y habilidades necesarias en el siglo XXI. Se propusieron soluciones para abordar la falta de conectividad en las zonas rurales, como el uso de plataformas educativas offline, materiales impresos, dispositivos portátiles precargados con contenidos educativos, programas educativos de radio y televisión, aulas equipadas con internet y alianzas con empresas de telecomunicaciones.es_ES
