| dc.description | In the detailed analysis of the Decentralized Autonomous Parish Government of Pimocha during the year 2023, how the budget is structured and executed in a context of growing economic and social challenges was deeply explored. The importance of this study lies in the need to understand the effectiveness with which public resources are managed, especially in times when budget efficiency becomes a key pillar for sustainable development and community well-being. The central objective was to evaluate the budget management of the GAD, with a specific focus on identifying its expense structure, verifying the execution of these budgets and establishing the level of efficiency in its management. The methodology adopted for this analysis combined a thorough review of the budget schedules, interviews with key personnel within the GAD, and a quantitative approach to measure the efficiency of budget execution against what was planned. This mixed approach allowed not only a numerical understanding of budget management but also a qualitative perception of the internal processes and challenges faced by Pimocha's GAD. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, improving the planning and execution of investment projects, and increasing transparency and citizen participation in the budget process. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | En el análisis detallado del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Parroquial de Pimocha durante el año 2023, se exploró profundamente cómo se estructura y ejecuta el presupuesto en un contexto de retos económicos y sociales crecientes. La importancia de este estudio radica en la necesidad de comprender la eficacia con la que se administran los recursos públicos, especialmente en tiempos en que la eficiencia presupuestaria se convierte en un pilar clave para el desarrollo sostenible y el bienestar comunitario. El objetivo central fue evaluar la gestión presupuestaria del GAD, con un enfoque específico en identificar su estructura de gastos, verificar la ejecución de estos presupuestos y establecer el nivel de eficiencia en su gestión. La metodología adoptada para este análisis combinó una revisión minuciosa de las cédulas presupuestarias, entrevistas con personal clave dentro del GAD, y un enfoque cuantitativo para medir la eficiencia de la ejecución presupuestaria contra lo planificado. Este enfoque mixto permitió no solo una comprensión numérica de la gestión presupuestaria sino también una percepción cualitativa de los procesos internos y desafíos enfrentados por el GAD de Pimocha.
