dc.description | The present research work carried out at the Barreiro Educational Unit has revealed a key challenge in administrative management: the lack of technological tools, specifically Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). This lack has been corroborated through an interview with administrative staff, and has been identified as a factor that negatively impacts the activities of the educational institution.
To address this need and improve user service in general, the design of a training workshop focused on the use of ICT in Administrative Management is proposed. The main objective of this workshop is to empower administrative staff with the necessary knowledge to adapt to the current reality, where ICTs play a fundamental role in administrative management.
The focus on ICT involves two essential dimensions: knowledge of how these technologies work and their effective application in the context of administrative management. This includes understanding the generation, storage, transformation, transmission and availability of information in various forms, such as texts, images and sounds, according to the needs of users.
However, it is highlighted that this process requires effort and coordination on the part of the administrative team of the educational institution. Furthermore, it is emphasized that the preparation of appropriate materials and resources for administrative management can be a challenge, given that there are often no specific educational resources for this type of teaching. | es_ES |

dc.description.abstract | El presente trabajo de investigación realizada a cabo en la Unidad Educativa Barreiro ha revelado un desafío clave en la gestión administrativa: la falta de herramientas tecnológicas, específicamente las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TICS). Esta carencia ha sido corroborada a través una entrevista al personal administrativo, y se ha identificado como un factor que impacta negativamente en las actividades de la institución educativa.
Para abordar esta necesidad y mejorar la atención al usuario en general, se propone el diseño de un taller de capacitación centrado en el uso de las TICS en la Gestión Administrativa. El objetivo principal de este taller es empoderar al personal administrativo con los conocimientos necesarios para adaptarse a la realidad actual, donde las TICS desempeñan un papel fundamental en la gestión administrativa.
El enfoque en las TICS implica dos dimensiones esenciales: el conocimiento de cómo funcionan estas tecnologías y su aplicación efectiva en el contexto de la gestión administrativa. Esto incluye la comprensión de la generación, almacenamiento, transformación, transmisión y disponibilidad de información en diversas formas, como textos, imágenes y sonidos, según las necesidades de los usuarios.
Sin embargo, se destaca que este proceso requiere esfuerzo y coordinación por parte del equipo administrativo de la institución educativa.
