dc.description | The present case study was carried out at the Manuel Nogales Calvopiña Educational Unit with the objective of determining what pedagogical strategies are applied for the development of physical activity in the institution. The methodology used had a non-experimental research design, quantitative approach, documentary, descriptive and field research, survey and interview technique with their respective instruments, which were directed at 30 students and 1 teacher. The results were that the majority of students said that sometimes the teacher proposes interesting games during classes, educational activities outside the classroom, not even in the garden. 53% of students consider that sometimes during classes recreational activities based on the development of physical exercises are proposed. Most students consider that sometimes the teacher plays recreational games that require jumping, running or moving from one place to another. The teacher has little knowledge about physical activity in the comprehensive development of students. In conclusion, pedagogical strategies are important in the development of physical activity because they provide the basis for effective learning and healthy growth, promote active participation, and encourage healthy lifestyle habits that can last a lifetime. The pedagogical strategies applied for the development of physical activity do not generate the motivation and active participation of a significant group of students. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
