dc.description.abstractEl desarrollo de la presente investigación se enmarca en la utilización de estrategia para el aprendizaje de las matemáticas de los estudiantes del 3ro. EGB. de la EEB. Otto Arosemena Gómez - Quevedo, a fin de sobrellevar un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. El proceso de aprendizaje y enseñanza de las matemáticas, se ha convertido durante los últimos años en una tarea ampliamente compleja y tediosa, la estrategia metodológica ayuda a mejorar el aprendizaje de las matemáticas en donde los estudiantes desarrollan su capacidad crítica reflexiva y razonamiento, evitando con ello, un aprendizaje mecánico-repetitivo. La problemática surge por experiencias de la autora en centros educativos y en especial por la preocupación del rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del séptimo año en el área de las matemáticas, por lo que se vio la necesidad de realizar una estrategia metodológica basada en las corrientes pedagógicas contemporáneas que contribuya a mejorar el aprendizaje en esta área. La presente estrategia está organizada de la siguiente manera: problema: planteamiento del problema, antecedentes, importancia y alcances, delimitación y explicación del problema. Objetivos: general y específicos. Fundamentación teórica donde habla de corrientes pedagógicas contemporáneas, constructivismo, importancia de la educación, concepción del aprendizaje. Estrategias: definición, características y tipos de estrategias de aprendizaje. Metodología: tipo de propuesta, partes de la propuesta, destinatario y metodología. Finalmente se desarrollan cinco actividades como ejemplos para practicar en el aula con ejercicios de matemáticas para los estudiantes del 3ro. EGB. de la EEB.
