dc.description | The consumption of cannabis among young people is a recurring concern in contemporary society, as this drug is positioned as the most widely used worldwide. Young individuals, in particular, are at a more vulnerable stage of life to the influence of this substance compared to adults. Adverse effects associated with its consumption include dependency, negative impacts on psychosocial development, cognitive impairment, and a tendency to develop mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety, among others.
The central objective of this research is to shed light on the factors that influence the consumption of cannabis by a 25-year-old young adult, in order to understand the underlying causes and circumstances contributing to this behavior. It is noteworthy that relatively few studies have delved deeply into the psychosocial factors that influence cannabis consumption among young people. Methodologically, this study adopts a qualitative approach, classified as descriptive research, and employs a variety of techniques, such as psychological interviews, clinical histories, clinical observation, and the Interpersonal Risk Factors for Drug Use in Adolescents (FRIDA) Test. Furthermore, it is supported by an exhaustive literature review and implements a psychological intervention based on Beck's cognitive-behavioral therapy. | es_ES |

| es_ES |
