dc.descriptionThe present case study aims to analyze the incidence of grief on the development of social skills in a 65-year-old woman, resident of the city of Vinces. Grief is an emotional process experienced after the loss of a loved one, and can have significant repercussions in different aspects of life, including social skills. To carry out the case presented, a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach was applied, using various techniques and instruments of psychological assessment, such as: interview, clinical history, observation sheet and psychological tests such as: Revised Texas Grief Inventory and Goldstein's Social Skills Assessment Scale. The findings obtained showed that bereavement affects at least 3 types of social skills, such as basic, advanced and those related to feelings. With these results, it is essential to provide them with tools to deal with their emotions and encourage their participation in social activities. For this purpose, a therapeutic scheme under the cognitive behavioral approach is proposed with the aim of promoting their cognitive, emotional and social well-being.es_ES

dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio de caso tiene como objetivo analizar la incidencia del duelo en el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales de una mujer de 65 años de edad, residente de la ciudad de Vinces. El duelo es un proceso emocional que se experimenta tras la pérdida de un ser querido, y puede tener repercusiones significativas en diferentes aspectos de la vida, incluyendo en las habilidades sociales. Para llevar a cabo el caso presentado, se aplicó un tipo de investigación de alcance descriptivo y un enfoque cualitativo, empleando diversas técnicas e instrumentos de evaluación psicológica, tales como: la entrevista, historia clínica, ficha de observación y test psicológicos como: Inventario Texas Revisado de Duelo y la Escala de Evaluación de Habilidades Sociales de Goldstein. Los hallazgos obtenidos dieron como resultado que el duelo incide por lo menos en 3 tipos de habilidades sociales, como las básicas, avanzadas y las relacionadas con los sentimientos. Con estos resultados, es indispensable proporcionarle herramientas para lidiar con sus emociones y fomentar su participación en actividades sociales, Para ello, se propone un esquema terapéutico bajo el enfoque cognitivo conductual con el objetivo de promover su bienestar cognitivo, emocional y social.es_ES
