Sexual abuse, a painful experience, has a profound impact on the mental health, emotional well-being and social life of the victim. Mental health encompasses general psychological balance, which influences a person's ability to cope with everyday challenges. In this research, psychological evaluation techniques and instruments were used to determine how sexual abuse affects the mental health of the 25-year-old woman from the Ventanas Canton. As a result of this study, a therapeutic plan has been developed designed to address the effects of sexual abuse on women's mental health. It is important to highlight that the research is descriptive in nature with a qualitative approach, which made it possible to carefully collect information about the patient's problems. | es_ES |

| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio de caso se enfoca en analizar la incidencia del abuso sexual en la salud mental de una mujer de 25 años del cantón Ventanas. El abuso sexual, una experiencia dolorosa, provoca un impacto profundo en la salud mental, el bienestar emocional y la vida social de la víctima. La salud mental abarca el equilibrio psicológico general, el cual influye en la capacidad de la persona para afrontar los desafíos cotidianos. En esta investigación, se utilizaron técnicas e instrumentos de evaluación psicológica para determinar cómo el abuso sexual afecta la salud mental de la mujer de 25 años del Cantón Ventanas. Como resultado de este estudio, se ha desarrollado un plan terapéutico diseñado para abordar los efectos del abuso sexual en la salud mental de la mujer. Es importante destacar que la investigación es de carácter descriptivo con un enfoque cualitativo, lo que permitió recopilar minuciosamente información sobre la problemática de la paciente. | es_ES |
